Cross River Rail will be closing Charlotte Street from 27 December to 2 February 2026 for the Cross River Rail Works. During this time, the Uptown carpark will remain open, and motorists can continue to exit via the Elizabeth Street exit.

This closure is required to support the Albert Street Station and Green Spine works. We will continue to communicate any updates and provide the most up-to-date information as it is to hand.

We have been working with Cross River Rail and Brisbane City Council, alongside all other Brisbane CBD stakeholders to ensure minimum impact whilst these works are being undertaken and we thank you in advance for your patience during this work.
